He Knows...
I won't even pretend to know
what you are going through
But there is One who understands
and He is there for you
In every trial and heartache
and situation you must face
He has already been there
And has stood in that same place
So when your heart is breaking
And no one else seems near
Just close your eyes and ask Him
To be close and calm your fear
His warmth will then encircle you
His strength will make you strong
His light will surely guide the way
Although the days seem long
Others, too, He will send
To keep you safe and supply your needs
To keep you safe and supply your needs
Holy Spirit within, and Angels close by
To minister when His child pleads
