Then, as if by magic, they seem to appear all at once, so breath-taking and awe-inspiring...Their splendor is indescribable and mesmerizing.
But we must enjoy them while they are here because they only last for a short time and then they are gone as quickly as they came...We must make it a point and take the time to look, touch, smell, and thoroughly drink in all they have to offer...and appreciate them.
The same is true of special people we are given in our lives...We all long for relationships with others...people we can know and have them know us, laugh with us, cry with us, encourage us, support us, love us...They may come into our lives unexpectedly or without notice, or at an inconvenient time...But when they arrive, we must stop and give them our attention...appreciate them for who they are, for what they mean to us, not take them for granted...And make sure they know how we feel...
Because just like the wonder and majesty of Spring, they, too, may be gone much too quickly.
